Can I use my MydexID to save me having to login across the different services I use online?

Short Answer

The MydexID supports single sign on for its members using multiple protocols. This is dependent on organisations either supporting one or more of the open standards for Identity such as OpenID or Mozilla Persona or belonging to a federation that uses a protocol like SAML. Our goal is to make it seamless for a Mydex member to use their MydexID anywhere so instead of adopting just one standard we have adopted them all and centred them on the individual to make it possible for them to access any service anywhere these standards are supported.

We have also made it possible for our members to store usernames and passwords in the personal data store for those services that do support open standards and will through our Browser extension allow them to feed this into sites automatically to overcome this issue. A MydexID is designed to be the only ID you will ever need so it has to work with all services
